As a Data Author, you have two options in creating a new web database.
eCriteria provides the technology for you to either (1) create an empty
database on the fly, or (2) upload already existing data as you create a
database. Both options follow a very simple publishing process, taking
only ten minutes or less depending on how many fields in your database.
Be sure to sit down and plan out your database before starting the wizard.
In this demo, we will assume that you are uploading already existing
data from an Excel spreadsheet as you create a database.
After logging in, you will come to the page below, the eCriteria
Control Panel. To start the wizard process, click on the
"Create a new database and upload data" tool.
If you do not have existing data, but you would like to create an empty
database, you would click on the "Create new, empty database"
tool instead.
