Step 3: Now, you are asked to upload the file that contains the data you would like to import into your new web database. You can do this by browsing through your local computer and clicking on the correct file. The file typically has a file extension .txt or .csv (comma delimited). Note: The file that you upload must include field names on the first line of data. Field names are words that label each column of data in your file. These field names must not include any spaces or special characters. If you would like to see an example of how your upload file should look like, please visit our How To page for examples. On Step 4, you will be given the opportunity to provide a more descriptive label for these column names.
