eCriteria Announces Affiliate Program
Written by Ms. Camille Jacks, PR Manager

Culver City, Calif. – August 7, 2000 – eCriteria is pleased to announce its affiliate program designed to proliferate the Database Powered by eCriteria branding, and enlist a significant cadre of web professionals who may earn commissions based on referrals.  The company is presently accepting online applications for the new affiliate program.  The online application for registering as an eCriteria affiliate may be accessed at the following address: www.eCriteria.ws/Registration.asp.   While nearing the completion of its beta-testing period, affiliates may begin integrating eCriteria web database publishing functionality with new and existing web sites for free.  The main company site at: www.eCriteria.ws also solicits reports of "cool" applications of eCriteria web databases in the What’s New section of the site.

Independent web designers and small web design firms who seek to offer eCriteria’s "shrink-wrap" web database solutions for various client projects are among those especially being welcomed to join the new Affiliate Program.  With eCriteria, web designer affiliates without programming or database knowledge may now easily accommodate their client’s requirements for dynamic web database content.  Details of the program’s commission structure will be announced soon.

Efficiency and cost-effectiveness are the principle ideals involved in the creation and development of the eCriteria web database publishing service.   Compared to the cost of custom programmed database solutions, the modest eCriteria monthly Premium Membership fees offer a very cost effective alternative for publishing database content on the web.

The eCriteria service provides quick and easy database publishing on the web, with full uploading/downloading capabilities from MS Excel, MS Access, Notepad, Palm Pilot, XML or Plain text, as well as search and data entry functionality for Data Users.  eCriteria databases can easily be attached to existing websites.

The market for eCriteria, still rapidly growing, consists of ASPs (Application Service Providers), ISPs (Internet Service Provider), B2B, B2C, and C2C, online communities and portals, homepage building sites, businesses of all sizes, web designers, and creative netizens.  eCriteria also has an international appeal, as data content is quickly becoming an important ingredient of websites around the world.

A Word from the CEO

"Our affiliate program is critical to our success in expanding our cost-effective web database publishing facility to new and diverse markets," say Dan D. Gutierrez, Founder and CEO of eCriteria.  "The web designers for whom we’ve previewed our technology have all been extremely positive in their assessment of how they may integrate eCriteria capabilities with their client projects."
