eCriteria Announces Re-Launch of Beta Web Site
Written by Ms. Camille Jacks, PR Manager

Culver City, Calif. – October 6, 2000 – eCriteria is excited to announce that its beta-test Web site has been officially re-launched.  As a result of comments and suggestions by our team of beta-testers, the re-launch includes an entirely new portal-style architecture, and has been retooled to provide the site with greater functionality of service and new-user capabilities while maintaining previously established quality assurance standards.  The eCriteria site continues to be located at its original web address: www.eCriteria.ws.

So what’s new at eCriteria?  The homepage includes a variety of new departments and content sections beginning with the Spotlight section.  This section offers the latest information on technologies, affiliations, and database publishing options available to Data Authors and Users.

The Featured Public Databases section provides a series of B2B databases with search and add options: venture capital firms, general businesses, B2B exchange sites, web design firms, and business incubators.   The purpose of the public databases is to provide a consolidated source of business resource information, provide a facility for organizations to register their business with an online directory, and demonstrate eCriteria’s powerful database publishing capabilities.

The Demo Databases section will regularly feature our top list of links to web sites featuring a web database powered by eCritiera.  In addition, the new eCriteria site features a Database Winner of the Week for special highlights of original database publishing concepts and design, and will be open to all registered eCriteria Data Authors.

The Business Solutions department features an ever-increasing number of broad-based as well as business specific solutions such as HR, enterprise data exchange, etc.  Also, individuals and SOHO business owners who wish to sign up as an eCriteria affiliate can browse the new Become an Affiliate section. Banner Ads from both new and old economy businesses are now an active aspect of our e-Business focus.

The enhanced look-and-feel was created specifically for simplified access to all of eCriteria’s integrated features and functions for effective web database publishing and secure administration.  With little or no internal IT department involvement, eCriteria streamlines mission critical processes and brings innovative means toward the continued effort to promote progress and efficiency to any organization.  eCriteria succeeds at managing cost and promoting the growth of any stage business of the ever changing e-conomy while meeting the specific technical needs of all B2B and B2C Authors.

A Word from the CEO

"The re-launch of the eCriteria beta site represents the most concentrated development effort for bringing our new DSP technology forward since the initial release," says Dan D. Gutierrez, Founder and CEO of eCriteria.   "The new data exchange portal look-and-feel communicates our increased focus in providing a facility for efficient corporate Web data requirements."
